FORESTERRA organizes its 3rd Steering & Management committee meeting in Kavala, Greece on 4 November 2014
The objectives of this Steering & Management committee meeting, will be to review recent actions, both administrative and scientific, and, in particular, refine the workplan until the end of the project, in December 2015.

The FORESTERRA Transnational Joint Call of 2013 outcomes will be one of the relevant issues, with a presentation of the two funded actions, the MedWilFireLab Networking action, and the Informed Collaborative project. Also, the organisation of the final FORESTERRA conference to be held in Istambul at the end of 2015 will be discussed. But most probably the most relevant topic will be the future 2nd FORESTERRA joint call. After the success and the synergies created from the 1st FORESTERRA joint call, the consortium is promoting this new call to enhance the coordination of Mediterranean forest research.
